Man Shot During Negotiation, Amulet Saves His Life by Blocking Bullet

A shooting incident occurred recently at a restaurant in Bangkok, Thailand. A man was shot at close range while seated at a dining table, with the bullet targeting his chest. However, the shot was miraculously blocked by a Buddha amulet he was wearing, saving his life. The incident has since sparked widespread discussion across Thai society, with many netizens attributing his survival to 'divine protection'.

The incident took place at a restaurant in the heart of Bangkok. The 50-year-old man was dining with friends and colleagues when he got into a dispute with a 28-year-old man over a real estate transaction. The younger man suddenly drew a gun and shot at him.

When police arrived, the restaurant was in chaos, with shattered windows and bloodstains on the floor. Two shell casings were found on-site. Fortunately, the bullet stopped when it hit the amulet on the victim’s chest. Although the amulet cracked upon impact, it successfully blocked the fatal blow, saving the man's life.

The police found the bullet embedded in the amulet at the scene. Reportedly, the amulet featured the image of a deceased abbot from Suwang Temple in Nakhon Pathom and holds both collectible and spiritual value. The injured man was later taken to the hospital for treatment and is now in stable condition.

Initial police investigations revealed that the case was related to a real estate bidding dispute. The assailant fled the scene in a white car but later surrendered himself at a nearby police station.
