The Body of Abdullah Transported from Residence to National Mosque for Prayer Ceremony This Morning

The body of the 5th Prime Minister, Tun Abdullah, was transported from his residence at Tasik Perdana at 8:10 this morning to the National Mosque for a prayer ceremony.

It was observed that several vehicles, believed to belong to his family and national leaders, escorted the hearse carrying the body of the deceased former prime minister.

Dignitaries present at the residence included Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, Kuala Lumpur Chief of Police Datuk Rusdi, Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development Datuk Seri Noraini, former Foreign Minister Tan Sri Syed Hamid, and former Minister of Communications and Multimedia Tan Sri Annuar Musa.

Tun Abdullah, who was known as the 'Father of Human Capital Development,' passed away at the National Heart Institute (IJN) yesterday evening at 7:10, at the age of 85. His body will be buried at the Heroes' Mausoleum (Makam Pahlawan) at the National Mosque.
