Xi Jinping pointed out that this year marks the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries and the “China-Laos Friendship Year.” Standing at a new historical starting point, both China and Laos should look at relations from the strategic height concerning the future and destiny of socialism, strengthen coordination and cooperation, deepen strategic alignment, expand practical cooperation, and join hands to address common challenges.
Xi Jinping emphasized that, at this new historical starting point, both China and Laos should continue to uphold the “16-character policy” and “Four Good” spirit, work to implement the new five-year action plan for building the China-Laos community with a shared future, and steadily advance the construction of the China-Laos community with a shared future towards high standards, high quality, and high-level goals.
