(Bandar Seri Begawan, 25th) The Cyber Crime Investigation Unit under the Criminal Investigation Department of the Royal Brunei Police Force was recently invited to hold a seminar titled “Online Scams” at Hyatt Borneo Management Services Company.
This seminar was delivered by Chief Inspector Adinin and marks the second related seminar held for the company's employees, with a total of 46 staff members attending.
Through this seminar, attending employees gained deeper understanding of the growing threats of online scams and learned how to identify scam tactics, protect personal information, and promptly report related cases to law enforcement authorities upon discovery.
Such activities are part of the Royal Brunei Police Force’s ongoing efforts to combat cybercrime, enhancing public education and raising cybersecurity awareness across all sectors of society in support of the nation’s overall cybersecurity objectives.
