Anti-Corruption Commission Chairman Tan Sri Azam Baki pointed out that as of December 31 last year, the Anti-Corruption Commission has deployed a total of 81 officers in integrity units within government entities and government-linked companies. They received 96 pieces of information, arrested 34 individuals, and charged 11 people in court.

He also stated that the Anti-Corruption Commission's Governance and Investigation Unit opened investigations into 107 cases last year and proposed 69 improvement measures.

Azam Baki said this during a press conference held at the Anti-Corruption Commission headquarters in Putrajaya on Thursday (February 6).

He further mentioned that last year, the Anti-Corruption Commission established integrity units in 62 local governments and appointed liaison officers in 84 local governments.

He noted that according to discussions with Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming, it was originally intended to establish integrity units in all local governments, but due to the smaller scale of some local governments, liaison officers were instead appointed.

He said that Anti-Corruption Commission officers will be appointed as heads of integrity units in various departments to assist in addressing the difficulties encountered in governance issues.

In addition, Azam Baki also launched the National Anti-Corruption Strategy Dashboard, which the public can access at https://d-nacs.sprm.gov.my to continuously follow the progress of the Anti-Corruption Commission's implementation of various strategies.
