(Bandar Seri Begawan, 18th) The Cybercrime Investigation Unit of the Royal Brunei Police Force’s Criminal Investigation Department was recently invited to host a cybercrime awareness briefing at the ‘National Housing Scheme Lumut 1 Village’.
The briefing was held in the annex hall of the Ministry of Communications building, attended by a total of 19 village residents.
The event was presented by Chief Inspector Adinin, who emphasized the vital importance of raising public awareness of cybercrime threats and mastering preventive measures to avoid falling victim to online scams.
He stated that through such activities, it is hoped to further enhance public understanding and awareness of cyber security challenges, thereby improving overall prevention capabilities.
