Malaysian singers Juztin Lau and Ash Lou recently appeared in Hong Kong, attending the 'Kindness Fills Tung Wah' charity fundraising event to use their music to help raise funds for victims of the Tai Po fire. Initially, the two were scheduled to arrive in Hong Kong last week to promote new songs and take part in related public events. However, upon arrival they learned of the unfortunate news of the serious fire in Tai Po, feeling shocked and saddened.

After the news broke, many friends and family back in Malaysia phoned to check on their situation in Hong Kong. Juztin Lau and Ash Lou stated that seeing the footage of many Tai Po residents losing their homes was unforgettable and heartbreaking, which made them even more deeply realize the importance of cherishing the present and cherishing the people around them—since life can be completely changed in an instant.

In light of the serious disaster, some of the public events they were originally supposed to attend were immediately cancelled. Both expressed understanding about this, considering that at such a time, it is most important to let the relevant organizations and residents focus on post-disaster matters, and that rescue and resettlement efforts are far more important than any events.

Lau and Lou also called on everyone to come together to weather the difficulties and each do their part. Ash Lou shared that his fans had spontaneously organized donation drives, demonstrating great love and care; while Juztin Lau said that this incident reminded him to place even greater importance on safety awareness and emergency response in the event of a fire.

The two sincerely thanked the organizers for allowing them to contribute to fundraising through music, and expressed hope that the victims can soon rebuild their homes, wishing safety and peace to all, and offering their heartfelt gratitude to all the disaster relief personnel.
