The second Boeing aircraft, originally scheduled for delivery to China's Xiamen Airlines, returned to the United States on the 21st.
Following the start of the US-China trade war, China has refused the delivery of customized passenger planes from Boeing.
According to a Reuters report, data from the flight tracking website AirNav Radar indicates that this 737 MAX 8 aircraft left Boeing's Zhoushan completion center near Shanghai on the 21st and landed in Guam, a US territory.
Quoting eyewitnesses, the report states that the 737 MAX with Xiamen Airlines livery landed at Boeing Field in Seattle at 9:11 AM Malaysian time.
Previously, another Boeing aircraft originally planned for delivery to China's Xiamen Airlines returned to Boeing's production center in the US on April 20th.
