RB Holds Dialogue with 16 Members of Parliament

(Bandar Seri Begawan, 23rd) Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) held a dialogue session yesterday at the RB Cooperation Centre, inviting 16 members of parliament to attend. 
The meeting was chaired by RB CEO Sabirin and was attended by the executive management team and representatives from the Ministry of Commerce. 
This dialogue reflects RB's ongoing commitment to transparency, national cooperation, and a shared vision, aiming to promote the development of Brunei’s aviation and tourism industries. 
During the dialogue, RB gave a detailed introduction of the latest developments in the company, focusing on RB’s transformation since 2019, post-pandemic recovery, its role as the country’s national airline and brand ambassador, investment in talent and engineering apprenticeship programmes, continued expansion of new routes and markets including Balikpapan, Beijing, and Chennai, and innovations in products and services such as SkyShop, SkySavour, and Brunei Aviation Learning Academy. 
Members of parliament raised several relevant questions, including how RB strives to maintain its status as the preferred airline for both local and international travelers, its role in promoting national tourism development, and key issues and challenges currently faced. 
The RB team responded at the meeting with clarity and optimism, reiterating their position, which includes: prioritizing guest experience through warm Bruneian hospitality, strengthening connections with key markets aligned with Brunei’s trade and tourism objectives, actively collaborating with national stakeholders including the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism, Brunei Economic Development Board, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and positioning Brunei as a boutique transport hub providing a serene and smooth travel experience. 
At the end of the meeting, both sides reached a joint goal: to work hand in hand to connect Brunei with the world.
