On the 15th, Chinese Ambassador to Thailand Zhang Jianwei met with Thai Prime Minister Anutin, delivering humanitarian aid from the Chinese government worth 20 million yuan (about 11.6 million ringgit) to Thai people affected by the Thailand-Cambodia border conflict.
Zhang Jianwei stated that the foreign ministers of China and Thailand have reached a consensus on China's provision of humanitarian aid to Thailand. The aid includes 10 million yuan in cash and goods worth 10 million yuan. He expressed hope that this assistance will help the Thai people overcome difficulties as soon as possible and rebuild their beautiful homes. China is pleased with the current ceasefire situation between Thailand and Cambodia and looks forward to both sides continuing to implement the outcomes of the Fuxian meeting, strengthening contact, building mutual trust, and achieving normalization of relations as soon as possible. China is willing to continue to play a constructive role in the Asian way.
Anutin expressed gratitude for China's humanitarian aid, emphasizing that this demonstrates the good tradition of mutual support and the deep friendship of "China and Thailand as one family". Thailand values regional peace and is willing to work with Cambodia to jointly maintain stability along the border.
