Marcos Jr. Welcomes New Ambassadors from Five Countries, Hopes to Deepen Bilateral Relations

Philippine President Marcos Jr. expressed that the Philippines looks forward to establishing closer bilateral relations with Bangladesh, Palau, Armenia, Cuba, and Mongolia.

On Thursday (May 15), Marcos Jr. received the new ambassadors of these five countries at Malacañang Palace and accepted their credentials.

The Presidential Communications Office stated in a press release that evening that President Marcos Jr. hopes that the envoys will work closely with the relevant Philippine agencies to continuously deepen bilateral relations, and encourages them to explore and learn more about the Philippines.

In receiving the permanent ambassador of Bangladesh to the Philippines, Mohammed Sarwar Mahmood, Marcos Jr. expressed optimism about the prospects for future cooperation between the two countries.

He also received the non-resident ambassadors from Palau, Armenia, Cuba, and Mongolia, reiterating the Philippines' commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation with these four countries.

The new non-resident ambassadors from these countries are Peter Adelbai from Palau, Suren Baghdasaryan from Armenia, Yadira Ledesma Hernandez from Cuba, and Enkhbayar Davaanyam from Mongolia.
