(Manila, 6th) — Philippine police on Friday arrested two suspected high-value drug dealers in Panabo City, Davao del Norte, seizing suspected shabu estimated to be worth over 27.6 million pesos (around RM1.92 million).
Davao Regional Police Director Brigadier General Rosete said the two suspects, identified only by their aliases "Gang" and "Cesar," were arrested in a joint entrapment operation in San Francisco Village.
Police confiscated from the two multiple packs and bundles of suspected shabu, totaling approximately 4,060 grams, with a street value of 27,608,000 pesos.
During the operation, police also recovered one genuine 1,000-peso buy-bust bill, 100,000 pesos in boodle money (fake money used in stings), and two bags.
The two suspects are currently detained at Panabo City Police Station, and police will file charges against them under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
