The Reason 67-year-old Tony Leung Ka-fai Wears Wristbands Is Pure Happiness – Laughs That Family's Luggage for Overseas Trip Is Like Emigrating

The crime action film "Eye for an Eye" is adapted from Yau Nai-hoi’s 2007 Hong Kong film "Eye in the Sky" and incorporates modern technology elements and expanded plotlines. It premiered in Mainland China ahead of Hong Kong and topped the daily box office, sparking a viewing frenzy.

The film was also selected for this year’s Busan International Film Festival, with Tony Leung Ka-fai being invited as a jury member. Humbly, while also supporting the younger generation, he said: "I don’t think being a jury member is that amazing, but my adopted son in the film will join me to promote it locally. He is Wen Junhui, a member of the Korean boy band SEVENTEEN. He’s very popular in Korea, so hopefully, we’ll be impressive for once!" Will he use this opportunity to travel around Busan with his family? He laughed and said: "That’s a big question, because we have several generations under one roof and a large family. Every time we travel, it feels like we’re emigrating because of all the luggage! I hope after completing the Busan trip, we can find time to travel somewhere nearby in Hong Kong as a family."

Also, Jiang Haowen (Hei Gor) specially made time recently to show support and shared a warm hug with Nick Cheung upon meeting. He joked that the last time they met was four years ago promoting "Chasing the Dragon II: Wild Wild Bunch." When asked whether he’d also like to take on intense action scenes, Jiang Haowen laughed and said: "I’ve always been raising my hand to fight, but they just don’t trust me, so they won’t let me!"

Nick Cheung then raised his hands—both wearing wristbands—and joked about himself: "See, it’s because they trust me too much that I have to wear wristbands!" When asked if he’d suffered any lasting injuries from filming, he immediately denied it with a laugh: "No, it’s because I have to carry my two grandkids, and they’re always squirming!"
