He stated that French troops are stationed in Iraq solely to combat terrorism, and conflicts related to Iran cannot be used as a pretext for launching attacks.
Earlier, French media cited military sources reporting that six French soldiers were injured in a drone attack in the Erbil region on the 12th. Recently, an Italian military base located in the Erbil region was also attacked, but there were no casualties.
