Zi Li Ge Chinese New Year Gathering and Elderly Appreciation Dinner: Fostering Bonds and Mutual Blessings

(Miri, 15th) The Zi Li Pavilion of The Moral Uplifting Society Miri hosted the 2026 Bing Wu Horse Year Chinese New Year Gathering and Elderly Appreciation Dinner last night at Park City Everly Hotel, themed "Success Arrives with the Horse · Fortune Comes Immediately." The atmosphere was warm and lively.

The dinner featured a rich program including singing and dance performances, lucky draws, as well as the distribution of red packets by the God of Wealth to members aged 70 and above, single members, and children. Additionally, red packets and gifts were given to the two eldest male and female pavilion members, as a tribute to the elderly.

In her speech, Chen Lanfang, Chairperson of the 2026 Bing Wu Horse Year Chinese New Year Gathering and Elderly Appreciation Dinner Organizing Committee, stated that the Chinese New Year gathering is not only an important event of this traditional Chinese festival, but also a wonderful occasion for everyone to build bonds and exchange blessings.

She highlighted that the Moral Uplifting Society always upholds the spirit of promoting virtues and serving society, and such gatherings help deepen friendships in a warm atmosphere and continue the tradition of respecting and cherishing the elderly.
