(Brunei, 19th) The Brunei National Wushu Team's Menglait Wushu Training Hall successfully held a selection competition.
A total of 32 Wushu athletes participated. The participants actively prepared, eagerly showcasing their skills, reflecting the spirit of the new generation.
The purpose of this event is to select outstanding athletes to represent the country in the upcoming "12th Asian Junior Wushu Championships" in July and the Wushu event of the "14th ASEAN Schools Games" hosted in Brunei in November. Additionally, it aims to further enhance the foundation for the construction of the national Wushu team's echelon, discover excellent talents, and cultivate more outstanding reserves for the Brunei national team!
The selection competition was attended by officials from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Education, and the Brunei Wushu Federation's technical team. The selection criteria are based on the athletes' regular performance in discipline, training attitude, attendance rate, technical ability, and overall performance during the selection test, serving as a comprehensive evaluation for their qualification to participate.
