China launches an anti-corruption campaign over the weekend, as Vice President of the Agricultural Development Bank of China, Xu Yiding, is investigated.
On Saturday evening (February 7), the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) and the National Supervisory Commission announced that Xu Yiding, a Party Committee member and Vice President of the Agricultural Development Bank of China, is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law, and is currently under disciplinary review and supervisory investigation.
Public information shows that Xu Yiding started working in July 1988, holds a doctorate degree, and is a senior economist. He has long served at the Agricultural Development Bank of China, formerly holding positions such as Deputy President of the Poverty Alleviation Finance Division and General Manager of the Comprehensive Poverty Alleviation Business Department (Relocation Department, Industrial Development Poverty Alleviation Department). In July 2019, he became a member of the Party Committee and subsequently Vice President of the Agricultural Development Bank of China, holding these posts until the current investigation.
