(Kuala Lumpur, 21st) The Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry urges public land transport and land freight companies to register through the Subsidized Diesel Control System (SKPS) in order to enjoy the RON95 petrol subsidy.
The Ministry issued a statement today stating that from September 15th to yesterday, a total of 1,790 companies have submitted SKPS applications, involving 5,449 vehicles in the public land transport and land freight industry.
The statement pointed out that according to the SKPS report, as of yesterday, 249 vehicles from 164 companies have completed SKPS registration.
“Among them, 106 vehicles are from 103 companies in the public land transport industry, while the remaining 143 vehicles are from 61 companies in the land freight industry.”
Previously, the Ministry estimated that there are about 100,000 public land transport and land freight vehicles nationwide that are eligible to register with SKPS to enjoy the RON95 petrol subsidy.
