(Hamburg, Germany) - On the 23rd, a 39-year-old German woman carried out a knife attack at Hamburg Central Station in northern Germany, resulting in at least 18 people being injured. Police stated that the woman showed signs of mental illness and have ruled out a political motive for the attack.
According to AFP, German police mentioned in a statement that the woman showed clear signs of mental illness, but did not provide further details on her condition.
Police noted that there was no evidence indicating she was under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the incident. The attack left 4 people severely injured.
