V (Kim Taehyung), a member of the South Korean boy band BTS, was discharged from the military last year. Recently, a creator who once lived with V in the new recruit training center has been sharing videos recalling their time serving together online. These clips not only reveal moments of them training and celebrating festivals together, but also unexpectedly prompted V himself to leave comments and interact. After the videos were posted, V personally appeared in the comment section to say hello, writing: “Long time no see, your memory is really impressive,” much to the delight of his fans.
However, as the videos continue to be updated, some fans have started to worry that the creator is revealing too many private stories from V’s military service, which could infringe on his privacy. The creator responded, saying he simply wanted people to know that V is a great person, which is why he chose to share these memories. Unexpectedly, after seeing this, V left another supportive message: “Why stop? Please share even more, I think it’s very interesting.”
As the discussion continued to heat up, on the 3rd V left another long response, stating he’s aware some people are concerned about the contents of the videos, but personally, he really enjoys watching them. He also expressed hope that the creator would not feel pressured by the reactions online. “This was done out of goodwill, so I hope you don’t pay too much attention to everyone’s opinions.” He fondly recalled their military days, warmly praising the creator as the “ace” of their squad, and sentimentally expressed that the time they spent together is a very cherished memory.
