A statement released by Myanmar Digital News, operated by the military government, said: “Aung San Suu Kyi is in good health.”
Nevertheless, the statement did not provide any evidence or details regarding Aung San Suu Kyi’s health condition.
The statement accused Aris of attempting to undermine the upcoming election.
The statement said: “This is pure fabrication aimed at undermining the upcoming free and fair multi-party democratic election in Myanmar.”
Aung San Suu Kyi’s son Aris, in a media interview in Tokyo, Japan, pointed out that he has not received any news about his 80-year-old mother for two years.
He is worried that even if his mother passes away, he may not find out.
Aung San Suu Kyi was detained after the 2021 military coup. She has been sentenced to 27 years in prison on charges of incitement, corruption, and electoral fraud.
