(Selangor, 5th) Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Deputy President Dato’ Seri Amirudin revealed that Pakatan Harapan’s election machinery has completed about 80% of its preparations to go all out for the upcoming Sabah state election, which is expected to be held soon.
“We are giving Sabah Chief Minister Dato’ Seri Hajiji ample time to determine the dissolution date, after which we will have space to conduct final discussions with relevant parties to ensure the voices of the Sabah people can be smoothly conveyed to Putrajaya.”
Amirudin, who is also the Menteri Besar of Selangor, pointed out at the Sekolah Menengah Sains Ulu Selangor Silver Jubilee Charity Dinner, which was held at Le Quadri Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on Saturday night, that PKR’s election machinery has reached 70% to 80% readiness, only requiring further refinement in the upcoming campaign strategies and promotional content.
Meanwhile, Amirudin stated that seat allocations with Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) have yet to be finalized and are expected to be determined only before the nomination deadline.
“Seat allocations still require several rounds of discussion, but we are nearing the final stage. I believe the final agreement can be reached before the nominations.”
The Sabah State Legislative Assembly will automatically dissolve on November 11, paving the way for the 17th Sabah state election.
