Classic TVB drama "Silver Spoon, Sterling Shackles" recently gained renewed popularity, bringing attention to Chan Yuk Lin, who played the former Qing princess and Damian Lau's "second wife" in the series. Recently, veteran journalist Wong Man Ling shared footage on social media of Chan Yuk Lin attending a friend's birthday party. Showing up with a bare face and casual attire, although some gray hair was visible, she still radiated an ethereal charm!

Chan Yuk Lin became a sensation in the 1980s for her roles as "Wang Yuyan" in "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils" and "Xiao Long Nü" in "The Return of the Condor Heroes," earning her the title of "Eternal Xiao Long Nü." She later developed her career in Taiwan and acted in ATV dramas. In the late 1990s, she returned to TVB and reached new heights in her career with "At the Threshold of an Era." She then resolutely retired and withdrew completely from the entertainment industry.

In 2007, Chan Yuk Lin made a comeback, filming the movie "The Way We Are." That same year, she returned to TVB as a guest star to collaborate with Damian Lau in "Last One Standing." After filming "Silver Spoon, Sterling Shackles" in 2012, she retired once again, making it her farewell work.
