(Beliat, 14th) During her speech at the 2025 All-Brunei Chinese Schools Chinese Singing Competition, Malay El Chinese Middle School Principal Zhang Guijuan expressed that this meaningful competition concluded successfully, witnessed by everyone, bringing great joy and emotion to the school.
She noted that this competition brought together ten outstanding contestants from five Chinese schools in Brunei, including Brunei Chinese Middle School, Seria Chung Ching School, Tutong Chinese School, and Kiudang Chinese School, among which are five upper primary Chinese students and five upper primary non-Chinese students.
“Each contestant showcased the unique charm of Chinese music with sincere and touching voices, demonstrating the younger generation's love and inheritance of Chinese culture.”
On behalf of all the contestants, judges, staff, and supporting teachers and students present, she extended the most sincere gratitude. She said it was everyone's enthusiastic participation and hard work that made this competition a brilliant and touching music event.
She also specifically thanked the generous sponsorship from the Taiwan Overseas Community Affairs Council, which enabled the school to successfully organize the school singing competition and a one-day singing training camp this year. This support not only provided students with a platform to showcase their talents and exchange with each other but also further promoted the development of local Chinese culture and music education.
Meanwhile, she extended her deep gratitude to all the staff, instructors, and volunteers who worked silently behind the scenes. She stated that it was their careful preparation and selfless dedication that brought warmth and significance to this event, allowing it to be carried out smoothly.
