The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran issued a statement on the 20th, announcing the launch of the 17th wave of the 'True Promise-3' operation against Israel, with targets including Israeli defense industry facilities, command and control centers, and air force bases.
The statement said that Israeli cities such as Tel Aviv, Haifa, and Beersheba were hit with precision, demonstrating the continuously increasing strike power of Iran’s ballistic missiles.
According to The Times of Israel, the Israeli military has made a preliminary estimate that at least 25 ballistic missiles were launched in this round of Iranian attacks.
Israeli emergency organization “Magen David Adom” said that at least 23 people were injured in this round of Iranian missile attacks, three of whom were seriously injured. In addition, a woman suffered a sudden heart attack in a bomb shelter and could not be resuscitated by rescue personnel.
Meanwhile, the Chief of the General Staff of the Israeli Defense Forces, Zamir, said in a video statement on the 20th that Israel must prepare to fight a 'prolonged war' in order to eliminate the threat from Iran.
