(Bandar Seri Begawan, 23rd) The Brunei Cyber Security Bureau (CSB) is hosting STACK 2025, a national platform to showcase innovation, cybersecurity, digital technology resilience, and collaboration on cyber-related topics.
The event will be held from tomorrow until June 25 at the Sultan Foundation An-Naura Hall, as part of the Brunei Mid-Year Conference and Exhibition (Brunei MYCE 2025).
STACK 2025 will bring together policymakers, industry experts, students, educators, and technology innovators to explore the intersections of digital transformation, cybersecurity, and national capacity building through five flagship activities.
The first activity is ID-Novate, a six-day hackathon where students and startups will develop creative, technology-driven solutions around digital identity, aiming to build a trusted framework and use verifiable credentials for secure authentication.
Next is “Robotics & Coding Conquest 2025,” a robotics showcase and competition focusing on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT), aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). The competition will be evaluated by local and international judges.
The third activity is the “Vulnerability Management Workshop & Roundtable,” a closed-door meeting bringing together sectoral industry representatives and cybersecurity professionals to explore the challenges and solutions surrounding vulnerability management and ransomware.
The fourth activity is “Online Child Protection: Policymaker Awareness & Collaboration Meeting,” aimed at strengthening Bruneian policymakers’ understanding of and engagement in Child Online Protection (COP) through sharing best practices, policy frameworks, and strategies for protecting children in the digital space.
