Successfully elected as the chairman of the PKR Jawi Division, Minister of Education Farina stated that her victory is a team victory.
She said their lineup is a high-quality team with the ability and experience to continue managing the Jawi Division well. She sincerely thanked all party members for their support and for voting for the team led by her.
She mentioned that this victory is a significant mandate that needs to be fulfilled as much as possible, with the current task being to consolidate the division's unity in preparation for the upcoming national election.
Speaking on Sunday night at the Jawi parliamentary constituency Hari Raya open house event held at the multipurpose hall in Sungai Bakap, Farina, who is also the Jawi MP, made these remarks.
In the same team as Farina, the original division director Amar Belize fought for the position of division deputy chairman and also won 551 votes, defeating his two competitors in a three-way contest.
Commence Central Party Election Preparations to Defend National Women’s Wing Chairmanship
Farina said she has started preparing for the central party election campaign and strategy to defend her position as the national women's wing chairman.
She stated that these preparations are as important as those she made when running for the division chairman, hoping that the path to defend the PKR women’s wing chairmanship will also be smooth.
She said, with several women’s division chairwomen winning in their respective divisions, it is believed that a stronger team will be formed to lead the women’s wing.
