Trump said that Iran launched at least four one-way attack drones at ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, with one of them hitting the upper deck of a cargo ship. The U.S. military shot down the other three drones.
He believes that this action by Iran violates the ceasefire agreement.
Vance warns that violence from Iran will be met with force
After the U.S. military conducted airstrikes against Iran on the 26th, U.S. Vice President Vance commented that if Iran resorts to violence, it will be met with force.
He wrote on social media: “Iran signed the ceasefire agreement, and we have also abided by it. If they have objections to how the memorandum of understanding is implemented, they can call and communicate directly. But if they resort to violence, they will be met with force.”
