Chinese Drama 'Pirates' a Netizen's Admission Letter, All Personal Data Exposed

After the airing of the Chinese romance drama "Yaxi" starring Chen Xingxu and Lu Yuxiao, an unexpected "coincidence" emerged. A Chinese female netizen living in the UK recently discovered that her University College London (UCL) architecture department admission letter from several years ago appeared intact in the series, with only the recipient's name changed and all other personal information, including the date and postal code, fully exposed. This left her stunned but also amused.

The female netizen mentioned that she was pulling an all-nighter working on drawings in the UK when she suddenly received a screenshot from a friend, who told her, "I saw your offer letter in Lu Yuxiao's new drama," which made her burst into laughter. She also joked that since the architecture program only accepts about 20 people a year, being the "lucky one" wasn't too surprising, and she and her friends laughed about it all night. After the incident came to light, the art staff from the "Yaxi" production team confirmed the oversight, took the initiative to contact her to apologize, and stated that they would review their internal procedures to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
