(Miri, 10th) Miri Mayor Yu Xiaoshan, at the launch ceremony of the "Yellow Duck" paddle boats at Bulatan Park today, pointed out that the park has successfully transformed into one of Sarawak’s most representative urban parks. The park is equipped with a leisure walkway about 2.5 kilometers in length and various comprehensive facilities, making it a favorite among citizens and tourists.

He said that the overall improvement of Bulatan Park could not have happened without the significant contribution of Sarawak Deputy Minister of Tourism Dato Sebastian Ting, who has actively promoted the construction of several facilities, greatly enhancing the overall appeal of the park.

"In addition, I would especially like to thank Sunyoung Group for investing substantial resources over the years through its corporate social responsibility programs to help improve the environment and facilities of the park, allowing the ring park to continue its upgrades and remain a high-quality leisure space for citizens to share."

He stated that with the operation of the "Yellow Duck" paddle boats, the leisure experience at Bulatan Park will be further enhanced, bringing more diverse options for family and water entertainment to citizens and tourists alike.

Yu Xiaoshan emphasized that the operating unit, Lake Duck Paddle Boat, must strictly comply with all safety standards and always prioritize visitor safety, with zero tolerance for any laxity in safety issues.

He pointed out that the "Yellow Duck" paddle boats are not only an entertainment facility, but also symbolize the Council's efforts to enliven public spaces and improve urban living quality. By transforming the lake into a vibrant leisure space, it further consolidates Miri's image as a livable and touristic city.

He also thanked all partners for their contributions and urged citizens and tourists to come and experience, to enjoy the beauty of nature while jointly maintaining the park environment.

Attendees included Miri Deputy Mayor Ariffin, Chairman of the Council's Tourism and Business Activities Development Committee Fan Hongxiang, Deputy Secretary of the Council Peter Linggi, numerous councilors, department heads, and media representatives.
