Best Actors Vincent Wong and Ruco Chan recently teamed up for the first time to hold a concert in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Although the two have collaborated on several popular dramas such as "The Unholy Alliance" and "Superpower", this was their first time sharing the stage for a live performance. The organizers specially built a four-sided stage with a rotating platform, making the duo feel as if they were in the "Mini Red Pavilion".
During an interview, Vincent Wong highly praised the enthusiastic atmosphere, saying that the two are great brothers with excellent chemistry. He has already suggested to his manager that this partnership should be further developed in different areas. As he will turn 50 this year and his son is entering primary school, he shared that he had recently made time to take his son on trips to Penang and Bangkok, and would soon be fully devoted to work.
In response to TVB's significant decrease in drama production, both actors remain positive. Vincent Wong expressed gratitude for still having work to pay for his son's tuition, calling on industry peers to stay resilient. Ruco Chan revealed that he has mainly focused on music and live performances these two years, patiently waiting for good scripts and the company's plans. It is reported that TVB has announced it will be renamed "Television Broadcasts Group Limited" to align with its multi-platform entertainment media positioning, and will hold a major event this Friday. Many artistes are expected to attend to learn about the company's future direction.
