The alleged victim, who graduated years ago, is now coming forward with accusations.
On Saturday (24th), Chong Hwa School Principal Loh Hong Sian released a statement on the school's website addressing the allegations to students, parents, staff, concerned alumni, and members of society.
He stated that the school is aware of an online post on May 23 concerning allegations implicating a teacher in a "ME TOO" incident. The school takes this matter very seriously and has immediately activated a response mechanism.
"The school will take appropriate actions, following the principles of fairness, neutrality, and objectivity to investigate and handle the matter, to protect students' rights."
Loh Hong Sian mentioned that the school understands the concern and worries of parents, alumni, and community members, and pleads for some time to investigate and understand the situation. The school commits to maintaining a responsible stance in upholding justice and safety on campus.
"If any students are affected, the school will provide counseling and assistance either internally or through third parties."

According to Koo Jian Yao's post, after the "ME TOO" incident in the independent Chinese school, a student A contacted him, revealing that he and many fellow students had been sexually harassed by the male teacher. However, most students were not direct victims, only being called by the teacher to rooms with beds or asked to bathe at school, under the pretense of teaching them how to clean their genitals, then ordered them to masturbate. Student A was instructed to touch the teacher's genitals, to which the teacher had a physiological response.
He revealed that the involved teacher is a respected senior teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience, married with children, seen by others as a good man and teacher.
