Ukraine and Russia released statements on the 7th, with Ukraine claiming to have struck six Russian ships on the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov over the past two days, while the Russian armed forces announced that they had attacked Ukrainian military oil tanks and bulk carriers in the Black Sea on that day.
Commander of Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces, Braudy, stated on social media that in the past 48 hours, Ukrainian unmanned forces struck a total of 102 Russian targets, including six "shadow fleet" vessels in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, specifically, two oil tankers and four bulk carriers. The Ukrainian side also struck eight Russian cargo handling points, two fuel and ammunition depots, two radar systems, one Buk air defense missile system, among other targets.
On the same day, the Russian Ministry of Defense issued a bulletin stating that the Russian armed forces used land-based high-precision weapons and attack drones to strike oil tanks in Ukrainian Black Sea ports used by the Ukrainian military, as well as two Ukrainian bulk carriers transporting military equipment in the Black Sea.
Additionally, on the same day, RIA Novosti quoted Turkish sources reporting that a Turkish-flagged bulk carrier was attacked by a drone at a Russian Black Sea port, with no casualties so far. Ukraine is believed to be “behind the scenes” of this attack.
