“Superpower Academy” Global Recruitment: New Sparks from East-West Cultural Collision

TVB’s first supernatural growth competition reality show, “Superpower Academy,” has seen its popularity soar since its premiere earlier this year. The buzz continues to build, with its total cross-platform viewership breaking the ten million mark, sparking a viewing frenzy in Malaysia. The show’s main organizing party, 'Xianzhi Destiny Bureau,' has announced that “Superpower Academy 2” is officially underway, launching a global audition in the fourth quarter of this year, with plans to begin filming the second season next year.
During a media interview, Xianzhi Destiny Bureau’s General Manager, Shen Huanhuan, pointed out that the first season of “Superpower Academy” centered on traditional Chinese culture, but the new season will recruit participants globally, aiming to spark more ideas through the exchange and collision of Eastern and Western cultures. She emphasized that “Superpower Academy” is not only a reality variety show, but also carries a mission of metaphysical education.

The show’s three mentors—Master Yiyang Fengsui, Master Faming, and Master Daoyuan—are eagerly anticipating the new season of “Superpower Academy.” They expressed hopes that the show will unveil the mysteries behind various metaphysical disciplines, allowing audiences to learn in a more systematic and formal way, while building a positive understanding.

To thank local fans for their support, the original mentor team of the program, together with several award-winning students from the first season, held their first offline event on Saturday. The fan meeting attracted more than 500 fans. The atmosphere was lively, with mentors engaging with fans up close, sharing metaphysical secrets, and offering more practical and professional guidance to provide an even richer experience for the audience.
