(Kuching, 27th) Deputy Minister of Economy and Mukah MP, Datuk Hanifah Hajar Taib, received a delegation of community leaders and headmen (KMKK) from Mukah Province for an official visit at the Malaysian Parliament Building in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday.
According to a statement, a total of 29 representatives participated in this visit, including delegates from KMKK Mukah Province, Mukah District Office, Dalat District Office, and the P213 Mukah Parliamentary Service Centre.
“The main aim of the first day’s parliamentary visit is to allow the delegates to directly understand the functions and role of the Malaysian Parliament in the process of national development,” Hanifah stated on her official Facebook page today.
In addition, the delegation also paid a courtesy visit to National Digital Berhad (DNB), under the Ministry of Digital, and Deputy Minister of Digital, Datuk Wilson Ugak.
The delegation later attended a luncheon hosted by Wilson Ugak, and after a tour of the DNB building, received a briefing about the institution’s role in the development of the national 5G network.
Hanifah also expressed her gratitude to Wilson Ugak for his warm hospitality and the reception given to the Mukah delegation.
The statement concluded: “It is hoped that this visit can further deepen understanding and strengthen cooperation networks to promote local community development.”
