The Russian President's Press Secretary Peskov stated on the 21st that the work on the Russia-Ukraine peace agreement memorandum is actively progressing.

In a briefing, he said that most of the content of the work "for obvious reasons, cannot yet be disclosed".

He expressed that Russia welcomes the efforts of all countries willing to assist in resolving the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

He also noted that the location for further negotiations between Russia and Ukraine has not yet been decided. Currently, Russia is working to implement the agreement reached with Ukraine in Istanbul, Turkey, concerning the exchange of a thousand prisoners of war.

On the 19th, Russian President Putin had a phone conversation with US President Trump. The two agreed that Russia will propose and prepare to draft a memorandum with Ukraine regarding a possible future peace agreement. The memorandum will outline a series of propositions, such as principles for resolving the crisis, a timetable for reaching a possible peace agreement, and a temporary ceasefire in the event of such an agreement.

On the evening of the 19th, Ukrainian President Zelensky, after concluding a phone call with Trump, stated that Ukraine will not compromise on territorial issues and will not withdraw troops from its territory. He also requested Trump not to make decisions concerning Ukraine without its involvement, as this is a crucial principle for Ukraine.
