Designed for adventure enthusiasts seeking exceptional power, agility, and off-road capability, the new Ranger Raptor now combines its iconic performance with improved fuel efficiency thanks to its advanced diesel engine.
The new 2.0-liter twin-turbocharged diesel engine retains the signature rugged appearance and strong genes of the Ranger Raptor, enhancing fuel economy while maintaining the thrilling power drivers love. Whether conquering rough terrain or cruising city streets, the new Ranger Raptor offers an unparalleled balance between power and practicality.
Compared to the new Ranger, the next-generation Ranger Raptor features a distinct chassis. A range of Raptor-exclusive brackets and reinforcements cover components such as the C-pillar, cargo box, and spare tire, along with unique damper frames, shock towers, and rear shock mounts, ensuring the new generation Ranger Raptor can handle harsh off-road conditions.
A high-performance off-road vehicle like the Ranger Raptor demands a matching transmission system, prompting Ford engineers to completely redesign the suspension. The new robust yet lightweight aluminum upper and lower control arms, long-travel front and rear suspensions, and improved Watt's link rear end, aim to provide better handling at high speeds and tackle rugged terrain.
