Notice from the Royal Customs and Excise Department: Payment Function Service Temporarily Interrupted During Digital System Maintenance

(Bandar Seri Begawan, 6th) The Brunei Royal Customs and Excise Department has issued an announcement stating that due to ongoing maintenance and security enhancement operations on the government digital system, certain services (including its payment function) will be temporarily unavailable. This maintenance work is jointly executed by the Royal Customs and Excise Department (RCED) and the E-Government National Centre (EGNC).

The affected services are as follows:
Frequent Commuter Pass (FCP)
 Date: Starting June 5, 2025 (Thursday)
 Time: From 1:30 PM onwards, until further notice

ASEAN Single Window (ASW)
 Date: Starting June 7, 2025 (Saturday)
 Time: From 4:00 PM onwards, until further notice

Brunei Darussalam National Single Window (BDNSW)
 Date: Starting June 9, 2025 (Monday)
 Time: From 12:00 PM onwards, until further notice

The Royal Customs and Excise Department advises that for any queries related to the import and export of goods, the public can visit the nearest inspection station for consultation. Please note, the Entry/Exit System (EES) will continue to operate normally and is not affected by this maintenance work.
