Iran's Supreme Leader Khamenei delivered a televised speech on the 18th, stating that Iran will never submit, and any U.S. military intervention will result in irreparable consequences.
This was Khamenei's first speech broadcast via state media since the conflict with Israel erupted on the 13th.
He said the grave mistakes committed by Israel "will and are being punished."
Referring to U.S. President Trump's threatening remarks, Khamenei stated that threats cannot alter the actions and thoughts of the Iranian people, and Iran will never yield to any aggression. Any U.S. military intervention will face irreparable consequences.
In his speech, Khamenei praised the Iranian people for their firm and courageous actions in the face of Israeli aggression.
