He mentioned that the collaboration aims to cultivate talented individuals who are highly skilled, adaptable, and innovative, thereby promoting a vibrant economy and national vision for sustainable development aligned with Brunei Vision 2035.
Meanwhile, Dr. Mohd Saif mentioned that a key component of this MoU is the apprenticeship programme, which offers UTB students the opportunity to gain practical work experience at Imagine.
He said that through such exposure, students will develop industry-relevant skills and contribute new ideas and perspectives to the rapidly evolving digital sector. He stated that the programme aims to enhance the employability of the university's students and graduates by supporting the development of practical skills, expanding professional networks, and opening up career development pathways.
“Upon successful completion of their studies, students will have the opportunity to receive conditional job offers, facilitating a smooth transition into the workforce.”
Through this collaboration, students of the university will have the opportunity to intern in various departments at Imagine, including information and communication technology infrastructure, digital product innovation, corporate strategy, marketing, and customer experience areas.
