(Bandar Seri Begawan, 27th) Chung Hwa Middle School Board Deputy Supervisor Liao Tianshun stated, "Today, we gather in the Peace Hall to jointly witness the successful conclusion of the 2025 academic year's teaching tasks. Here, on behalf of the School Board, I sincerely thank all hardworking faculty and staff as well as the silently dedicated parents. I also extend my congratulations to the students who have completed this year's studies!"
Liao Tianshun made these remarks this morning while serving as the guest of honor at the 2025 Chung Hwa Middle School End-of-Term Ceremony and Awards Presentation, held in the Peace Hall.
He said that the School Board has always regarded campus safety as the foremost priority in running the school. We know that safety is the prerequisite for education and the fundamental guarantee for students' healthy growth. Over the past year, the School Board has continued to invest resources to optimize campus safety facilities, conduct emergency evacuation and first aid drills, and enhance the self-rescue capabilities of teachers and students. These measures together have built a safe, comfortable, and secure learning environment, allowing students to grow up safely and healthily at Chung Hwa.
He noted that this year, under the dual protection of safety and environment, the school has achieved new successes. Students have repeatedly won distinctions in national essay and calligraphy competitions and technological innovation contests; the teaching team has demonstrated professional excellence in teaching research projects and demonstration lessons. These achievements not only highlight the school's philosophy of promoting education in five areas, but also demonstrate the profound significance of a safe and harmonious campus environment for the development of teachers and students.
"Students, the holidays are another canvas for growth outside of campus life. As to how to paint this picture well, I offer the following suggestions in hopes of helping everyone have a fulfilling and unforgettable time:"
He said, "First and foremost, safety comes first to protect happiness. Everyone should obey traffic rules and pay attention to home safety with fire and electricity; be cautious when participating in outdoor activities and prevent drowning; use the internet reasonably and stay away from harmful information."
He continued, "Secondly, learn to be grateful and responsible. The holidays are a warm time for family reunions. I encourage you to put down your phones, communicate more with your family, actively participate in household chores and community service, and express love and responsibility through your actions."
Next year, the School Board will continue to center its plans on "safety first, environment nurturing education." This includes planning campus greening projects, promoting the construction of a digital campus, and strengthening teacher training, aiming to build a growth platform for Chung Hwa students with a more international perspective and cultural foundation.
He concluded by wishing all teachers and students a happy holiday, and looks forward to all of us, with greater enthusiasm in the coming year, jointly writing an even more glorious chapter for Chung Hwa Middle School!
