(Kuching, 26th) The Konsulat Jenderal Republik Indonesia (KJRI) recently paid a courtesy visit to the Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia Negeri Sarawak (JIM Sarawak) to further strengthen the strategic cooperation between both parties.
The KJRI delegation, led by Consul General Dr. Abdul Razukifli, was received by Sarawak Immigration Department Director Abdul Halim Abang Nayi. Attendees included the Deputy Director (Control Division) of the Sarawak Immigration Department, Nor Hafizah Junaidi, as well as several senior officers.
According to a statement from the Sarawak Immigration Department, this meeting provided both parties with an important platform to discuss various topics related to immigration management, including coordination of procedures and matters concerning the welfare of citizens of both countries residing in Sarawak.
The statement pointed out: “The discussions took place in a friendly and constructive atmosphere, reflecting the ongoing commitment of KJRI and the Sarawak Immigration Department to ensure efficient, professional, and transparent immigration governance in order to safeguard the common interests of both sides.”
