(Bandar Seri Begawan, 31st) The Brunei Immigration Department announced today that to facilitate public cross-border travel, several major entry-exit checkpoints will temporarily extend their operating hours from June 1 to June 4, 2025, with the opening hours being extended from 6 AM to midnight.
This temporary measure applies to the following four immigration checkpoints: Ujong Jalan, Labu, Kuala Lurah, and Sungai Tujoh.
The Immigration Department stated that this measure aims to cope with the potential peak traffic during the holiday period, ensuring that the entry-exit process is smoother and reducing congestion.
The authorities also noted that the above checkpoints will return to their normal operating hours on June 5, which is from 6 AM to 10 PM daily.
