【Johor State Election】Wong Kah Woh Makes a Big Deal Out of Opponent's Strategy, Chong Tek Keong: DAP Still Only Knows How to Exploit MCA

(Johor, 28th) MCA Vice President Datuk Chong Tek Keong mocked that DAP Election Director Wong Kah Woh is once again making a big deal out of issues regarding MCA and Perikatan Nasional, which is not only laughable but also exposes that after many years in power, other than attacking and exploiting MCA, DAP seemingly doesn't know what else it can do.

In a statement on Sunday, Chong Tek Keong pointed out that, according to DAP's logic, apparently only supporting Pakatan Harapan DAP is considered fair, and not supporting is considered unfair; only supporting DAP is considered democratic, while those who don't support are labeled as extremists. This "I am always right, everyone else is wrong" political mindset once again highlights the DAP's arrogant way of doing things.

He said, whether or not Perikatan Nasional contests, and how many seats they vie for, are decisions for PN themselves; whether or not MCA contests, and how it contests, are all political considerations for MCA itself — what does all this have to do with DAP? Do all political parties nationwide now need to get approval and certification from DAP before deciding their election strategies?

“Wong Kah Woh and DAP talk about MCA every day, as if without MCA, they wouldn’t even know how to do politics. Issues of Chinese education are blamed on MCA, the unfulfilled Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) promises are blamed on MCA, and even the rising cost of living is blamed on MCA. Now, even the election strategies of other parties are being blamed on MCA.”

Chong Tek Keong stated that DAP is already the largest ruling party in the central government, controlling the most resources and holding numerous ministerial positions. After so many years in power, when facing any problems, instead of reflecting on their own actions or being accountable to the people, they continue to treat MCA as their political scapegoat.

He said that if DAP is truly so capable, why do they still need to attack MCA every day to stay relevant? If Pakatan Harapan truly represents openness, fairness, and diversity, why, in their eyes, is only supporting Pakatan considered fair, and not supporting them seen as wrong?

“What people truly care about isn't what new criticisms DAP throws at MCA today, but how many promises DAP has fulfilled and how many problems it has solved after taking power.”

Chong Tek Keong emphasized that Johor people will no longer be deceived by such diversion tactics, creation of enemies, and exploitation of MCA for political gain. He advised DAP to stop using MCA as a cover for their own incompetence. Rather than spending every day studying MCA and PN, it's better to properly answer to the people and show what kind of report card they have delivered after so many years in power.
