Baiduri Assists Underprivileged Students, Benefiting Students from Twelve Schools

(Borneo Bulletin, Bandar Seri Begawan, 21st) Baiduri Bank recently held a tuition grant ceremony for underprivileged students at Emperor's Court, Manggis Mall, benefiting students from twelve private schools nationwide.

Baiduri Bank CEO Ti Eng Hui stated that for over 20 years, the bank has continuously supported underprivileged students in private schools as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), hoping that through practical assistance, it can provide students with better learning opportunities and help them grow into future talents who can make positive contributions to society.

He said that this tuition donation program began in the early 2000s, initially providing support mainly to students of Chinese schools during the Lunar New Year period. Over the years, the scope of the program has gradually expanded, including more private schools, further demonstrating Baiduri Bank's long-term commitment to education and social responsibility.

On the day, Ti Eng Hui handed over relevant necessities and tuition assistance to the representatives of schools across Brunei, including: Chung Hwa Middle School, St. Andrew's School and St. George's School in Brunei-Muara District; Chung Hwa Middle School Kuala Belait, Chung Ching Middle School Seria, Chung Ching Middle School Seria, St. Angela's School, St. John’s School, and St. Margaret's School in Belait District; Chung Hwa School Temburong, CHMS Kiudang, and Pei Yu School in Tutong District.
