Zhao Junwen Promotes Youth Entrepreneurship: Entrepreneurs Share Success Experiences

(Miri, 8th) In order to inspire local youth to venture into entrepreneurship, Miri Member of Parliament Zhao Junwen organized an extraordinary "Entrepreneur Sharing Session" yesterday, specially inviting renowned entrepreneur Dato' Tan Siow Ho to personally attend and share his experiences and insights on achieving business success from difficult beginnings.
Zhao Junwen pointed out that this event is not only about imparting knowledge but also providing a rare opportunity for Miri's young people to gain an in-depth understanding of the real journey of entrepreneurs. This includes how to formulate strategies, face challenges, overcome failures, and eventually stand out in the business world.
He said, "Becoming a successful entrepreneur is by no means an easy task. Apart from knowledge, it also requires courage, patience, creativity, and long-term perseverance. Dato' Tan Siow Ho's experiences encompass these elements, providing great inspiration and practical value to young people.”
During the event, Dato' Tan Siow Ho, with a cordial and sincere attitude, generously imparted his knowledge to the young audience, covering topics such as marketing strategies, financial management, attitudes towards failure, and how to bounce back in adversity, which sparked a warm response from the attendees.
The latter part of the event also featured a youth town hall exchange session, allowing Zhao Junwen to have face-to-face interactions with the youth present to hear about the various challenges they face in entrepreneurship, including insufficient funding, lack of guidance, difficulties in market expansion, and lack of policy support.
Zhao Junwen stated that he values these priceless opinions and promises to bring the voices of the youth to the national level, to serve as an important reference for formulating more inclusive and targeted youth entrepreneurship policies.
