The 82-year-old former U.S. President Biden has been diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer, and current President Trump expressed sadness upon hearing the news.

On the afternoon of the 18th, Trump posted on his social media platform "Truth Social," stating that he felt sad upon hearing Biden's diagnosis. He extended his best wishes to Biden and his family, hoping for Biden's speedy recovery.

U.S. Secretary of State Rubio also tweeted, expressing prayers for Biden's family and hoping they overcome this difficult period.

Biden's office issued a statement on the 18th, saying Biden was diagnosed with prostate cancer on the 16th, and the cancer has spread to the bones.

Biden's eldest son, Beau, passed away from cancer in 2015.

Since leaving the White House, Biden has almost retreated from the public eye, making few public appearances.

In recent months, Biden's health has been under scrutiny. This month, he denied reports of cognitive decline during his last year in the White House. However, according to a recently leaked audio file, Biden spoke hesitantly and had difficulty recalling key events and dates, reigniting debate over his mental capacity during his tenure.
