(Miri, 20th) An Indonesian man went missing after being dragged into the river by a crocodile while fishing on the banks of the Kuala Banan River, and is believed to be in a dire situation.
The Lopeng Fire and Rescue Department's operations room received the report at 4:50 PM yesterday, after which its director Henry Jukar led a team of 7 rescuers to the scene.
The missing person is Shalin, who was wearing a blue sleeveless T-shirt. The rescue team arrived at the site and conducted a comprehensive search within a 1-kilometer radius, suspending operations when it got dark.
It is understood that Shalin went fishing with his friend Felic this afternoon, and unfortunately, he was suddenly dragged into the river by a crocodile and went missing.
