(Kuching, 7th) The people of Sarawak should fully protest against Sarawak DAP leaders who repeatedly make false accusations against the government or individuals without verifying the facts.
Sarawak United People's Party Batu Kawa Branch Secretary Cheng Li Xun issued a statement condemning such irresponsible actions by the DAP, which has caused social unrest and is very unfairly damaging to the institutions or departments involved.
Earlier, on December 26, 2024, the Sarawak DAP Youth Wing recklessly accused the Sarawak government of issuing the RM500 health benefit for the elderly without verification, claiming that the system displayed "zero" even before beneficiaries enjoyed the benefits.
The DAP questioned that despite the approval of the applications, the funds had not been disbursed to the beneficiaries, and that clinics might be misusing patient data to apply for funds from the authorities.
The final investigation revealed that a clerical error occurred due to two applicants having the same name.
At that time, the DAP exaggerated the issue, even resorting to police reporting and holding press conferences to accuse the government.
A few days ago, DAP's Yang Wei Hui received public feedback, and without prior understanding and investigation, criticized the negligence of doctors at the Sarawak Heart Center, claiming the patient waited 20 hours without seeing a doctor; eventually, the Malaysian Ministry of Health refuted this false accusation.
From the above two incidents, it is clear and evident that Sarawak DAP leaders habitually spread "rumors" that cause public panic, making reckless accusations without verification time and again, severely disrupting social order and stability. What are their true intentions?
Cheng Li Xun pointed out that Yang Wei Hui's false accusations against the Sarawak Heart Center and its doctors have severely damaged the image, efforts, and contributions of the hospital and its medical staff.

“While we strongly condemn this, we also hope to curb the DAP's continued rumor-mongering. After all, people need a representative who stands by the truth rather than a leader who seeks attention by sensationalizing issues and distorting facts!”
