(Miri, 19th) Miri Member of Parliament Chiew Choon Man recently conducted a mobile service at the coffee shop on the ground floor of the Miri Wisma Hopoh, deeply engaging with and listening to the voices of the people.
He said that this initiative is an important measure that allows him and the Miri Parliamentary Citizen Service Center team to reach out to the community, understand the problems faced in daily life, and provide necessary guidance and assistance.
“This mobile service counter aims to listen and accept public complaints. It will give Miri residents the opportunity to directly express their concerns to me and the service center team, so that immediate follow-up actions can be taken.”
He also mentioned that during the event, we assisted in processing 35 applications and reviewed government aid such as STR, SKAS, and the Sara plan starting next month. We will also provide individuals we meet with suitable information and types of government projects.
“Through projects like this, I can gather feedback and voices from Miri residents on certain issues. They will also share their different views on government policies with me. All these will be very helpful for my work in the parliament in the coming months.”
He reiterated his commitment to continue organizing more grassroots programs and activities to ensure better service for the people, making sure each of their voices is heard. By engaging with the public and understanding the challenges they face, we can jointly find more effective solutions to enhance the well-being of everyone.
